Artist CV

Paulo Delgado was born in Mozambique and grew up in a little village in Portugal. He completed his degree in Graphic Design in 1997 at Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Tomar. During almost 20 years he worked in the field creating corporative images, books, newspapers, magazines, and illustrations. During this time, he started experimenting with different mediums, and concluded that acrylic was his favorite.

Prizes and Achievements

85th Open Juried Competition and Exhibition from Manitoba Society of Artists - September 14th to October 14th  2017 – Win the Barbara Cook Endres Award for first place in the show with the painting “Waiting”.

Spring Edition Contest - May 2020 – from Awesome Art Prize Gallery Online. Win a Silver Award with the painting “Lemons”.

2nd Primary Colors Art Exhibition - July 2020 - from Light Space Time Online Art Gallery. Distinguished with a Special Merit with the painting “Neighbors”.

Luxembourg Art Prize - December 2022 - from Pinacothèque a private museum in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg founded by Hervé Lancelin, one of the most influential art collectors in Europe. Received a certificate of artists merit for the artwork I submitted to the contest.
